Congratulations! You are taking a wonderful step in learning about the process of birth. I offer both group and private childbirth classes as well as a birth doula service.

Doula Services
A doula is a trained pregnancy and birth professional who supports the laboring mother and her partner during labor. We do not take the place of a doctor or a midwife, and we do NOT do any medical procedures. I meet with you at least twice prior to your birth. We'll get to know each other and I'll help you plan the birth that you desire. I provide some education during these visits and we practice various comfort techniques for labor. During the birth, I provide continuous physical and emotional support throughout your labor, and visit you once after the birth in your home. Private Classes
My twelve hour childbirth preparation course is taught privately, in the comfort of your home. (6 classes at 2 hours each). Ask all the questions you would like! We will cover everything from pregnancy aches and pains to postpartum care for you and your newborn. I have several handouts, a workbook, videos, charts and a small lending library of pregnancy/childbirth books for you to read. I also have a small ‘goody’ bag of samples to give away. This childbirth course is $180. (Sometimes I run a special, so visit my website!)
Group Childbirth Classes
Group childbirth classes are now being offered in Keller, TX - Sign up before September 1st and recieve a free massage! This is also a 12 hour course that meets once a week for six weeks (classes are two hours long). Price for group classes - $140.

Other Classes
I also offer an early pregnancy class as well as a newborn class - each class is 3 hours and $40. See what your baby looks like at various stages, and learn about all the joys of pregnancy as well as all the tests and screenings you will be offered. I also offer a crash course in childbirth education if time is running out. (Please email or call for details).
NEW: Grandparent's class 101 ! If you are a grandparent, aunt, uncle, friend or sister and plan to attend a birth, then this class is for YOU! It doesn't matter if it's a hospital or home birth, I will teach you some basics that will enhance your role. This three hour class is $40
